Forbes about IT Outsourcing industry in Belarus

More and more foreign businesses when considering their competitive outsourcing strategy decide in favor of outsourcing software development services from Belarus, which now belongs to one of the largest offshore programming service providers in Eastern Europe. Fresh Forbes magazine in its article about “Belarusian Bangalore” points out the following figures: “Per capita income from IT-services export in Belarus equals that of India and heavily exceeds that of Russia and Ukraine”.

The news can hardly take anyone by surprise since Belarus is famous for its strong computer programming school and due to its offshore location it can offer highly competitive rates. Nevertheless it well proves the vision of Belarus as one of the hubs and the ‘think tanks’ of the world offshore programming.
