SoftTeco Took Part in the UN Campaign Dedicated to International Earth Day
On International Earth Day, SoftTeco took part in a tree planting campaign. The memorable event was held in support of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals.
Our company was represented by Oleg Ridchenko, a Development Director, and Taisiya Pastukhova, a Communications Specialist.

Each company chose one of the sustainability goals to be represented by the tree we planted. SoftTeco symbolically chose Goal 9, “Innovations and High-Quality Infrastructure”.
The tree planting campaign started at 15:00 and took about an hour and a half. During this time, each participant planted an ash tree as a symbol of well-being and peace. Each tree symbolizes one of the Sustainable Development Goals.
All participants in this event were members of the UN Global Compact – the world’s largest initiative that unites businesses with the aim of achieving the 17 SDGs. Representatives of the UN organization and representatives of the Belarussian National Coordination Centre for Achieving the SDGs also took part in the campaign.
